When the Sun Sets, We Brunch — 'Midnight Home Party' Recipes for Vampires

A 10-minute home party menu for Moonlight Brunch gatherings.

As sunlight fades and darkness settles, humans wind down — but vampires awaken.

Young vampires are replacing clubs with cozy small home gatherings called 'Moonlight Brunch': breakfast culture shifted to nighttime.

Here are two 10-minute dishes perfect for a late-night social table.

Main Dish — Classic Beef Tartare

No stove, no complex prep — raw elegance that satisfies vampire palettes and feels classy enough for human guests.

[Ingredients]

Fresh beef round 200g, minced onion, capers, whole-grain mustard, olive oil, salt, pepper, egg yolk, baguette or crackers

[Preparation]

Step 1. Pat beef gently to remove excess blood.

Step 2. Mix beef, onion, capers, mustard, olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 3. Plate into a small mound and top with raw egg yolk.

Step 4. Serve with toasted baguette or crackers.

Tip: Minimal seasoning for vampires, sesame & pear for human-friendly flavor.

Welcome Drink — Blood Orange Mimosa

Not actual blood — but beautifully red and party-ready.

[Ingredients]

Blood orange juice, sparkling wine/champagne, rosemary

[Preparation]

Step 1. Fill half the glass with juice.

Step 2. Slowly top with sparkling wine.

Step 3. Garnish with rosemary.

Tip: Turn off fluorescents. Use candles or low lights. Conversations glow brighter in the dark.
