The underground cave, identified as a key location in the vampire fugitive case, suddenly collapsed tonight. No casualties have been reported so far, and all residents near the site have evacuated following the immediate evacuation order. Authorities have ordered all security personnel and search teams at the site to withdraw immediately, focusing on ensuring safety.
Human residents who witnessed the collapse said, “We felt a massive tremor from the ground, and a deafening noise followed as a swarm of bats poured out,” adding, “Shortly afterward, part of the cliff collapsed.” According to expert analysis, “There has never been any recorded seismic activity near the cave, and as the area is not prone to natural disasters, the tremor was likely caused artificially.”
Due to the cave’s partial collapse, which damaged the hideout and evidence, the investigation that had been proceeding at speed until now has inevitably suffered setbacks. Some suggest that the cave might have been intentionally collapsed to impede the investigation or destroy evidence.
Immediately after the cave collapsed, a whirlwind of dust reportedly swept through the area, making it difficult for security personnel to maintain visibility. Some eyewitnesses reported spotting the fugitives fleeing the area amid the confusion.
The authorities intend to dispatch search and rescue units as soon as the site is deemed secure, to verify that no one else was harmed and to carefully assess the risk of another collapse.
