Mysterious Traces Found in Vampire Hideout—Was There an “Accomplice”?

At the hideout recently discovered by the Vampire Pursuit Unit, new evidence of an unidentified individual has been found. The unit stated that the new traces do not correspond to the vampire footprints previously identified.

Unexpected footprints at the crime scene have sparked new speculation that an “accomplice” may have been assisting them. The unit ruled out the possibility that more vampires were involved than those already discovered, stating, “The identities of the vampires discovered at the crime scene have been accurately confirmed.” However, they acknowledged that “there could have been a third party who helped them during their escape.”

While the unit refrained from giving detailed information on the third piece of evidence, they noted that “it does not fully overlap with the vampires’ route,” implying that an accomplice might have been present near the site to aid their escape.

Authorities are summoning acquaintances of the fugitives to investigate whether anyone had prior knowledge of the plan and whether they exhibited unusual behavior before or after the incident. As no further hideouts have been discovered besides the underground cave, the unit is focusing its efforts on the possibility that the vampires and their accomplice are hiding close to the location.
