Vampire “Escape Map” Secured: Pursuit Unit’s Capture Operation Gains Momentum

A “map” suspected to have been used by the vampires who broke the taboo and fled has been recovered from their underground hideout. The map contains a considerable amount of information on the vampires’ escape plan, reportedly allowing the unit to accelerate their operation.

The unit located the map after 46 hours of intensive searching within a roughly 10 km radius of the underground hideout. Investigators report that the map seems to have been dropped by one of the vampires as they hurriedly fled from the unit arriving at the scene right before the crime.

It appears that the map details the location of the crime scene on the day of the incident, the adjacent underground cave, the escape route, and a backup exit planned in case of failure. With this information in hand, the unit is extending the search zone and gradually closing the dragnet.

Authorities are also considering the possibility that the recently suggested “third party,” or “accomplice,” may have provided the information marked on the map, and are focusing their investigation on individuals familiar with the site.

The unit stated, “The map contained information that ordinary vampires, with no experience in secret operations or search missions within vampire society, would not easily know,” adding, “This indicates that their crime was planned more meticulously than previously thought.”

With critical pieces of the puzzle surfacing—such as the possible existence of an accomplice and the map of the escape route—some observers are tentatively suggesting that the vampire fugitive case may soon be closed.
