A blood donation bus, believed to have been used by the fleeing vampires, has been found near the desert. It is reported that the bus had a small quantity of “blood ice bars” apparently made from the blood the vampires had consumed. Based on these findings, authorities presume that the fugitives were still in the blood donation bus until recently, and the pursuit unit has resumed the chase.
Parked in a remote, sparsely inhabited area, the blood donation bus seems to have been taken from the city by the fugitives, who then moved to the outskirts to escape human observation and the pursuit unit.
It is noteworthy that, despite the prolonged nature of their escape, there has yet to be a single report of the vampires endangering or attacking humans.
It is understood that they are avoiding human contact entirely, sustaining themselves on the blood packs in the donation bus and the frozen “blood ice bars” as they traverse the harsh terrain.
According to the pursuit unit, “Other than the known intent to transform the beloved human woman into a vampire like them, authorities see no other motive. Still, as the unit tightens the dragnet, caution is warranted, as what they might do next cannot be predicted.”
After the blood donation bus was discovered, the fugitives disappeared again. The pursuit unit is now intensifying their search, keeping an eye on locations where the vampires might show up to obtain blood.
