[REPORT] Fugitive Vampires Seen at Restaurant — “Calmly Dining” After being sighted in a desert region and then disappearing once more, the vampire fugitives have now been confirmed to have appeared at a restaurant in a nearby city. Witnesses say the group “boldly showed up at the restaurant without caring about the stares around them,” and that they “seemed so relaxed while eating that no one realized at first they were the fugitives.” In fact, the first official report that vampires had appeared at the restaurant was only filed several dozen minutes after they initially arrived. CCTV footage obtained by the Pursuit Unit shows the entire group of vampires gathered together without a single member missing. The human woman, whose trail was only recently rediscovered, can also be seen eating with a completely calm expression, showing no visible signs of fear. The fugitives even played pool with unsuspecting customers at a table in the corner of the restaurant before quickly fleeing once the Pursuit Unit appeared. Undercover investigators attempted to approach the vampires and the woman without revealing their identities, but their cover was blown within minutes. The vampire couple then fled toward the outside of the restaurant, and although the unit rushed after them, they reportedly lost the fugitives yet again. (The Pursuit Unit, which had been confident about capturing the fugitives at the “edge of the desert,” remained publicly silent about losing them not only during the desert escape but also when multiple city sightings were reported. However, after rumors of the “restaurant incident” surfaced, the unit was forced to acknowledge for the first time that the investigation was experiencing major difficulties. With the vampires’ current movements completely unclear, authorities now urge citizens, “If you spot them in the city, report it immediately without hesitation.”) Meanwhile, while searching the restaurant after the fugitives left, the Pursuit Unit found a napkin on the table where the couple had been sitting and began a detailed forensic analysis. The napkin had been folded intricately into the shape of an origami crane, containing a short written message and what looked like paired bite marks—resembling the way lovers leave traces of their lips. Investigators believe the vampire couple exchanged messages to each other via the napkin, and given the intense public curiosity about their mental and emotional state, they expect significant shock and debate once the contents are revealed.
